Art on the Mayor’s walk

Having grown up in a family of artists, musicians and crafters, Grainne’s current work reflects some of her early childhood memories with them. The long country walks and chats about Irish folklore and history, which evoke a sense of relaxation, calmness, and awake the senses to the sights and imagined smells of beaches, green fields, wood lands and foraging for a bounty of wildflowers, herbs and mushrooms. Grainne’s work uses an array of mediums but mostly acrylics watercolours and inks, on both canvass paper and in print.
