Nano Nature

Sonja’s new work has been produced over the past two years. This exhibition explores the natural world, partly based on macro photography, forms not visible to the naked eye, such as oil glands of a sage leaf or funghi spores, partly based on explorations of texture and forms visible to us. Featured are bowls exploding outwards, vessels with a texture of cracked earth, erupting with volcanic glazes, running like lava down the sides and a forest of oil glands. All work is wheel thrown and occasionally altered. Exhibiting together with Rebekka Tomal.
