Embodied

Embodied – The nature of being in a human body, of knowing the world through the experiences of the senses, being present and conscious of our environment, within and without, in the here and now. This group of artists create work which has, at its core, the expression and perception of the bodily senses. They create from the reality that to live, think, and come to know, is not just confined to intellect or apart from this physical world but entwined with it and all its richness and fragility.
