The work of Marie Cleere revolves around the representation or the depiction of nature. Nature is original so we can only try to represent it in our art works. The work of Claire Mulcahy is abstract and draws inspiration from urban and rural landscapes. Claire’s work focuses particularly on changing environments over time using representational elements of the minutest detail. Ionad Lachtain is an Art and Craft Heritage Centre located in Freshford village Kilkenny. A group of talented artist will display their art works including pottery, jewellery, knitting, woodwork,books,sewing,handmade soaps and paintings during arts week.
