Neurozizklone
Kilkenny native Damien Lennon (Neurozizklone) first emerged from the scene that produced The Crawl Babies, Jerusalem Taxis, Kerbdog, and Engine Alley. He has performed and recorded across the US, UK, Ireland and Europe, from John Gotti’s barbershop to the National Concert Hall, and is a founder member of the prolific Zeropunkt. At Rothe House he will perform a set of processed bass VI, a tenor-like instrument tuned like a guitar, but an octave lower. Recalling La Monte Young ragas, shoegaze guitarscapes, and the spatial melancholy of spaghetti westerns, the music is an abstract electrical hauntology both lulling and unsettling.
